Invaris AI began in January 2026 around a different engineering question: what if reliability were not another opinion from another model, but a separate deterministic control responsibility?
That question became the Coherence Reliability Engine. Coherence is the first complete intelligent workspace built around it.

Justin Barker is the founder of Invaris AI and the architect of CRE. His background spans advanced electronics in the U.S. Navy, finance, enterprise transformation, systems implementation, supply-chain performance, risk, and technical program leadership.
That mix shaped CRE: elimination-first reasoning from electronics troubleshooting, typed controls from enterprise systems, risk discipline from finance, and a relentless focus on preserving useful work while containing failure.
