What Coherence does
Coherence is an AI chat, research, and professional preparation app from Invaris AI. It routes prompts and relevant context to managed AI providers, checks candidate answers with the Coherence Reliability Engine, repairs answers when possible, and asks for source, document, authority, or clarifying input when needed.
Coherence is designed to improve reliability and make repair records inspectable. It does not guarantee that every output is correct, complete, safe, lawful, or appropriate for every use.
Information we collect
We collect account and profile information, authentication and subscription state, optional security information, and the content you choose to provide. That content can include prompts, chats, dictation transcripts, uploaded documents, project instructions, guided-repair input, source or authority notes, citations, feedback, and explicit override decisions.
Reliability and audit records can include CRE findings, repair-trigger metadata, original AI drafts, repaired answers, guided-repair exchanges, candidate sources, authority choices, and user override records. Product and diagnostic records can include provider route, model id, token and tool counts, retrieval calls, usage-limit state, latency, errors, security events, and feature settings.
Microphone audio used for dictation is sent transiently for transcription and is not retained by Coherence after the transcription request. Coherence does not store full payment-card numbers.
Data collection by plan
Every plan may retain the records required to provide, secure, meter, replay, export, and delete the service. Plus and Pro enable additional projects, uploads, continuity, provider, dictation, retrieval, and audit capability and therefore may create additional user-controlled records within their plan limits.
Provider-processing consent does not authorize product-improvement use. Product-improvement use remains off until a separate explicit opt-in.
How we use information
Information is used to authenticate accounts, maintain sessions, deliver responses, run reliability checks, support Guided Repair, store chats and projects, manage subscriptions, enforce usage limits, provide export and deletion controls, detect abuse, troubleshoot defects, maintain security, and improve product quality.
Reliability data may be used to compare original and repaired responses, evaluate repair quality, improve source acquisition and Guided Repair, investigate incidents, and build aggregate reliability metrics. Aggregate or de-identified information may support product education, analytics, planning, and reliability reporting. Invaris AI does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
AI providers, search, retrieval, and service partners
When a live feature is used, relevant prompts, context, document excerpts, candidate answers, and Guided Repair material may be sent to managed model, transcription, search, retrieval, identity, billing, storage, email, telemetry, or security providers for the function they support.
Retrieved material is candidate evidence only. Pinecone may receive deterministic vectors, content hashes, token estimates, and hashed references for separate ordinary and repair-specific continuity indexes—without raw prompt, response, document, or source-identifier text. Vector similarity proposes context; it never authorizes an answer.
Provider credentials and secrets are configured server-side and must not be stored in browser settings, chat history, telemetry, exports, Lab evidence, or source control.
Documents, artifacts, and audit records
Uploaded documents may be stored, parsed, chunked, searched, and used as untrusted candidate context. Coherence may preserve original drafts, repaired text, Guided Repair conversations, explicit choices, source material, and audit metadata so the user can inspect what changed and why.
Artifact Studio can render a displayed response into supported file formats. Exporting a file does not add facts, constitute proof, or create a new CRE release decision.
Storage and retention
Exact chat and project history is stored in encrypted, per-user AWS object-storage partitions until deleted, the account is deleted, or the plan storage limit is reached, subject to active retention choices and legal or security holds. Pinecone stores rebuildable vectors and governed context metadata without raw chat text or raw user identifiers. Supabase is reserved for the segregated Coherence Performance Database and is not customer chat history, product context, or an outage fallback.
Some security, billing, tax, fraud-prevention, support, dispute, and compliance records may be retained longer where necessary.
Your choices
You can manage available profile, personalization, privacy, continuity, storage, subscription, export, and deletion controls in Coherence. You can opt out of optional communications; required account, security, billing, legal, service, and support messages may still be sent when necessary.
You can request export of available product data and initiate account deletion from Account Management. Product-improvement use has a separate choice on every plan.
Security, children, changes, and contact
Coherence uses server-side provider credentials, secure sessions, managed identity, optional MFA or passkey controls where available, audit logging, upload validation, no-secret telemetry, Provider Gateway boundaries, and cloud security controls. No online service can guarantee perfect security.
Coherence is not intended for children. If practices change, the policy and relevant platform disclosures will be updated.
